Regarding the Christian identity crisis, in particular, I've imagined starting a movement of referring to ourselves as "Christian Americans." The intent would be to blur lines in the churches: African-American, Asian-American, German-American, etc are all represented within the church. But as "Christian Americans," we make a statement that we are new creations and are one in the Lord. Applies also to Southern Baptist, Roman Catholic, Weselyan Methodist, etc as far as I can see.
